Notturno

Between Cervia and the mouth of the Po there is a stretch of coast that is only itself for about four hours a night, after the last of the traffic and before the boats go out. I have been photographing it since the winter of 2022, always on the same camera, mostly on the same twelve kilometres.

The exposures run from forty seconds to eleven minutes. Nothing in them is lit by me.
